Mat's First Father's Day

For Father's Day, we were planning on going to a cute, non-chain Italian restaurant but it was too busy and making Pete wait is a little like Russian roulette! So instead we went to P.F. Chang's, and afterward I made Mat go to Pottery Barn to look at couches for our new house. He told Pete Mama was turning Daddy into a bourgie tool. Anyway, after a long wait for our food at P.F. Chang's, we instituted a new family rule: we are never, ever going out to eat on a holiday again.
