Pete's Sixteenth Week, July 9 to 15

This week, Pete became an Alabama boy! We moved on Wednesday, July 15. What a week it was. Lulu came on Sunday to help with everything, and on Wednesday morning we were on the road. Pete was a trooper through it all. He took naps surrounded by towers of boxes and was generally pretty interested in all the activity. We had a few meltdowns on the road, but he was pretty good for being in the car from 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM. Moving--it's not for the faint of heart. Mat says if we ever have to move again we're just going to burn down the house.

Right before we left...I drove with my mom and Pete, and Mat drove with all the animals AND hauling a trailer. The cats didn't make any noise except to occasionally hiss at each other.
