Pete's eighteenth week was a total and utter blur. We slept on air mattresses until the movers came, and then the movers came and our lives were devoted to unpacking. Lulu was here, and if she hadn't been, we all would have lost our minds! Pete was a champ: he spent a lot (A LOT) of time at Lowe's and Target, and watching people move stuff around. He slept in his own room, away from my side, for the first time ever, though he didn't seem to notice my absence. We have a big backyard now (come vist!) and we like to imagine how much Pete will enjoy it when he's a little older.

At Lowe's, being cute

Jim N' Nicks, which is quickly becoming a favorite. I get the Pig in the Garden, which is a salad with pork on top and is as delicious as it sounds. Mat gets mac and cheese with brisket, which is also as delicious as it sounds.

He figured out he could remove the sunglasses. So, no more sunglasses.

Asleep at Sam's

After an unsuccessful nap

Asleep at Target. Won't sleep in his crib during the daytime, but will happily sleep in the noisiest of stores.

Sometimes, your parents gotta put you on the dog bed while they unpack books (so many books!).

Our front porch!

The back porch, where my mom and I have coffee when she's here.

Trying on hats while organizing Pete's drawers. None of them fit anymore.
