On October 4, Pete crawled! More of a slither...my dad calls it swimming on the ground. But he gets from point A to point B, not elegantly, but he gets there. He crawls to: our iPhones, cords, Feenie's disgusting stuffed animal, remote controls. Basically, all the things he cannot have. We went to a football game on October 3. Auburn played San Jose State and won, though we are having a bad season in general. The spectacle of SEC football continues to amaze.

Pete hangs out a lot with his friends Owen and Everett, though mainly Pete stares, open-mouthed, while Owen and Everett actually do things. We also meet some people at the park, where, again, Pete stares. He's much more smiley with adults than with children. We go to music class every Monday, and for the past few classes Pete has sobbed whenever an instrument is taken away. It's a little embarrassing, but also pretty funny.

He's graduated to a bath chair! He likes to read (eat) his waterproof book while bathing.
