A very exciting week for Pete: pictures, a visit from Lulu, and Halloween. He kept his costume on for about thirty seconds (a very cute thirty seconds) and behaved admirably in his picture session. The photographer said he lasted a lot longer than most babies, but I'm sure he says that to all the babies (and their moms)...

Right before pictures, in the outfit Mat says resembles a dress

A blue fish (Halloween in Auburn was celebrated on Thursday, so this was actually the 29th. Because there was a big football game on the 31st. We live and die by football in these parts.)

Eating grits! Pete eats everything. At that particular lunch, he ate salmon, shrimp, potatoes, pimiento cheese, and crab. He's yet to refuse anything.

Wary at music class. (I'd stepped away to put my purse down.)

Pete claps when we claps! It's the first time he's imitated us so deliberately.
