Pete's Forty-Second Week, January 7 to 13

Dad came home, Lulu left, and we got back into our routine (kind of). At his 9 month appointment, Pete was 24 lbs, 3 oz (96%); 29.75 inches (88%); and his head circumference was 18.75 inches (97%). He continues to be big. His great great aunt Therese said he was like my dad and his brother and sister, a typical DiSclafani baby: fat and happy. We've noticed that he's gotten a little leaner in the past few weeks, because of all the crawling.

New skill: drinking out of a sippy cup on his own. Still doesn't take a bottle, and at this point I think it's safe to say he never will.

He's a real pleasure to get dressed these days.

In the cute outfit his babysitter got him for Christmas.

Loves pasta, like his Daddy.

Watching TV after he hurt his little finger.

At the doctor, to see about his finger (it was fine).
