This is a LONG post (maybe our longest)? After Nana and Papa left, Pete and I jetted out to San Francisco. Jet might be the wrong verb. Jet implies a quick trip, and it wasn't. A five plus hour flight with Pete: not the most fun thing I've ever done! Mat stayed home with the animals, and Pete took the Bay Area by storm.

Our bum shelter, built in 1958.

Before our flight, in the airport

He slept for half an hour. It felt like a short half an hour.

We arrived! At the house we rented.

A little out of order, but this was us at the end of the flight.

Pete at a French restaurant!

With Bogie, my sister's dog, at my sister's apartment.

At Foreign Cinema for brunch

Xandra threw a surprise party for Pete!

My favorite picture from the trip. The DiSclafani Face.

At an oyster farm in Marin County, where we ate A LOT of oysters. As one does at an oyster farm.

Point Reyes

Back at the Oyster farm

Pete sat like this the whole flight. Just kidding!

And back in Auburn, with his water table from Aunt Nanci and Uncle Matt!
