And I'm all caught up! Pete runs (literally runs) a mile a minute these days. He's just started forming words we can understand--yesterday he said "bye-bye" clear as day. He imitates everything we do, from sweeping to turning on the Roomba to reading a book. He has started to develop a lot of opinions, and quickly turns furious if you, say, take the dog food away from him. He gives kisses, hugs, and will brush your hair if you ask nicely.

At his swimming lessons! He's not really learning how to swim--just to float on his back, put his head under the water, and grab the side of the pool in case he ever fell in.
