And I'm caught up. In the week since school ended we've been playing catch up and tying up loose ends, etc.

Pete's creation--it's been fun to see him get better at building things. If he's frustrated he throws the Legos, which is also pretty funny. And Feenie, who is always about ten feet away from Pete. Partially because she wants to be around us, partially because Pete is a food-dropper. Pete loves Feenie, though he's also pretty bossy with her. His babysitter told us that he threw food off of his tray, then, when Feenie came up, dropped his water bottle on her head. (Terrible but also funny.)

German cover of The After Party!

Pete is VERY into looking at a pictures these days. We have a wall of framed pictures and he requests that we pick him up and talk about the pictures to him. Last week we put Evan and Marea on top of the pictures so he could start to recognize them (he'll be seeing his Minnesota cousins next week!).

Mat took Pete to the mall because it was a nasty day and we were stir crazy (I stayed home and worked). They came back with a bag full of toys and new kicks for Pete.

Hair! He finally has some.

Early morning building

Walking the dog with daddy

At McDonald's indoor playground, where he probably caught something

He gets into his backpack by himself these days, which is pretty cute

At the Opelika Christmas Parade. We went last year, too, when Pete was little and uninterested. He was pretty interested this time--watched everything very solemnly.
