What is the word for hell in Portuguese? Our flight from Minneapolis was pushed back three hours, due to the fact that Minnesota has weather not conducive to anything, including or especially travel. We barely made our connection in Newark; running from gate to gate with Pete, sans stroller, was the most exercise I've gotten since he was born. Then, upon arriving at our AirBnb in Lisbon, we were told by the host that the electricity was "finicky." It's freezing, I said. No, no, no!, he said. This is just Portugal! We do not go by set temperatures! After he left the electricity went off, powering down our space heaters; we got ourselves to a hotel.

Lessons learned: Traveling internationally with a toddler is...what is the word for insane in Portuguese?

AirBnb: Never again.

In Minneapolis, before we knew our flight was delayed

All the above are in the MSP airport, waiting...

Once we landed, waiting to deplane and run like the wind to make our connection
