I drove back from Seaside on a Saturday night, in a thunderstorm, and then on Sunday Mat and I continued to move All Our Junk from one house to the other. Not something I plan to do again any time soon. Movers came for the big stuff on Friday. My mom was supposed to come on Tuesday but I begged and pleaded and she came on Monday instead and got us into shape.

He has to have what we have. In the morning he gets milk in a mug with a drop of coffee. In the evenings, if we're having wine, he gets a wineglass with fruit juice and ice. It's pretty cute.

Bookshelves unpacked!
