July 12 to 22

At school, I have seen, with my own eyes, Pete pick up toys at the end of playtime. When we ask him to do that he dumps everything out.

I was away in Nashville for a trip with my mom and sister and a book event, and Mat and Pete flew solo. He takes a bath in our bath tub. He generally loves baths, except for when he has to leave behind his battery-operated toys.

After bath he hangs out in our bed while we read to him. He pays a lot of attention to books these days. He really likes books about construction (kill me now). He also likes Mo Willems, who is amazing.
