And I'm all caught up! The biggest development is that Pete has started talking a lot (finally). He has a new word (or three or four) every day, and he's just much more verbal in general. Less babbling, more words we can understand. He's also leaner (it seems his baby fat is almost entirely gone) and just so big! In certain lights, you can see him as a little boy.

We ate breakfast on the deck on morning

Watching cartoons in the basement

He loves apples

Chipotle burrito bowls are a longtime love

When he wants to watch TV he assumes this position

Post hair cut

He gives a thumbs-up and says "yeah"

With the hat my parents got him from Iceland. Mat and I were shocked he wore it.

At his school's Thanksgiving feast. I love seeing pictures of him at school.

At the North Pole train ride in Calera, Alabama. It was definitely not worth the two hour drive there and back. But Pete liked seeing the trains--he got a little bored once he was on one.

He was not into this elf

He was pretend biting me and I told him that if he did it again he would get a time out. So he did it again and ran to his time out chair. Not quite the deterrent we were hoping for...

Poppy and Lulu (Boppy and Wuwu) came for Thanksigiving

At the Riverwalk in Columbus

Our tree!

Christmas jammies

Our finished tree, decorated mainly with shatterproof ornaments because Pete likes to touch the tree. It's an ongoing battle. He knows he's not supposed to touch it, so he shakes a branch, fells an ornament, and says "uh-oh" very happily while retrieving the ornament.
