Zocalo, who is more outgoing now that Fipi has died.

Pete has entered a picky phase--he says "yucky" to most things we offer him. Currently he's eating a lot of Raisin Bran, which he calls "sun" because there's a sun on the box. I sent this pic to Mat because Pete was eating a hot dog for the first time (he's since decided they're yucky).

The night before he got sick

The day he came down with a stomach bug. At first we thought it was the flu (high fever, all he wanted to do was cuddle) but then it became clear that it was stomach-related. We went to Ocala on Wednesday (I thought he was better) and he got sicker there. I felt so sorry for him--I'd never seen him so lethargic. He would only drink milk ("nulk") which isn't the best, apparently, for upset stomachs but we were having trouble getting him to drink anything at all.

He is NEVER this still

At the doctor's office. I think this was after the flu test, which Pete did not appreciate. "She hurt the nose!"

A flight of beverages (none of which he would drink).

He loves his daddy. I used to be the clear favorite, but Mat is a much cooler parent these days.

They were watching a snake here. Mat told him the snake was scared of him and so Pete wouldn't let Feenie near it. "No, snake is scared, snake is scared."

If he naps we have a hard time getting him down at night, but if he doesn't nap...he falls asleep at 6:15 in the bathtub.
