I went to a work conference (AWP) and left Mat and Pete alone (they sent plenty of pictures!) and then Nana and Papa came the following weekend. March was a busy month.

At CDO, his Tues/Thurs/Fri preschool. Next year Pete will go to the same place, on Auburn's campus, five days a week.

At JJ and Paul's trampoline party

At an equestrian meet, where there are often kid-friendly activities. Auburn is a a kid-friendly place, in general. Lots of breeding going on.

The last time he was on a horse he got off right away, but this time he hunkered down and endured it.

His real love

Drinking "coffee." This was right around the time that we were cutting Pete's afternoon nap. That was a big adjustment, but now he sleeps later and goes to bed earlier.

We spend a lot of time in this area, right outside the garage

A monster! Two things are guaranteed to make Pete laugh these days: Monsters and ghosts.

After an afternoon at the Montgomery Zoo, we discovered Pete's love for queso.

He locked me out of the car and was quite pleased with himself (I had a key).
