April 16 to 30

We are hunkered down here in Alabama, waiting for Pete's brother to arrive...

All the other kids posed like a flying superhero (arms out). Pete declined.

We've dropped naps, but sometimes he falls asleep in the car--this was one of those days. He woke up in a terrible mood, but was mollified by a digger (excavator) clearing up a lot across the street from us.

At the Standard Deluxe Spring Boogie. I think Pete got a contact high.

Mat's birthday--I told Pete Dada was having a birthday and he said "Another one?" I think because it was just his own birthday.

In his sandbox, which is really just a storage container full of sand. He pronounced it "too small" after playing in a real sandbox last week.

With "the ball green," a current obsession. Now he calls it the green ball, though.

At CityFest, which I declined to go to.
