We rented a car while in Cork and I was the driver and I loved it. I got used to driving on the opposite side of the road fairly quickly and it was just so nice to go where we wanted on our own timetable (no waiting for a tour bus, etc) and I just like driving, I guess. The Irish countryside is also a fantastic backdrop for driving.
The day before the wedding we went to Blarney Castle, home of the Blarney Stone, which one is supposed to kiss while hanging upside down. I don't exactly know because the line was extremely long and there was no way we were going to wait in it with kids.

Back at Avonmore. It looks like I've just finished giving my children a direction that they are not listening to.

We ate out on the lawn several times. The weather was perfect, and there are no snakes! I didn't realize how aware I am of snakes, coming from Alabama--they are everywhere in the summer.

All flowers from Olive's garden

The strawberries were amazing. I know everyone comes home from somewhere else (not the USA) and talks about how much better and fresher the food is, but dang is it true.
