July! We...did the same thing we had done since March, except added a trip to Asheville to see Auntie X and Emily.

We arrived! Drive was uneventful, though I discovered that I could not listen to any podcasts because Pete asks too many questions and all my podcasts are about the end of the world.

Hiking/submerging himself in creeks became Pete's new favorite pastime this summer.

Xandra collecting trash at the hiking site, which is a really nice thing to do until she leaves it in your car and you have to dispose of it.

Bounty from my garden! I'm pretty sure we can sustain ourselves on a handful of tiny bell peppers and one large heirloom tomato when the apocalypse comes.

Waiting to Zoom our City Council about a mask ordinance. It didn't work! But I got a NYT op-ed out of it.
