Last day at Avonmore

After the wedding we spent a last day at Avonmore, where my family stayed with Courtlyn (my parents stayed at a hotel along with Xandra and Emily).

Pete really liked arranging these...gardens? Not sure what to call them. Georges (Emily's dad) grew fruits and vegetables; Olive (Emily's mom) grew flowers. Everything was so green! I kept remarking on how pretty the landscape was, both at Avonmore and throughout Ireland, and finally Mat said well, they do call it the Emerald Isle?

Pete LOVED Avonmore. There was so much to do. He is a kid who is happiest exploring.

Kristin (Nick's, Emily's brother, girlfriend); Xandra; Georges. Every single person there except my family (with the exception of Mat) spoke at least two languages.

Farewell brunch! Georges is the chef and Olive is the baker. We were so well-fed while we were there.

Olive got everyone goodbye gifts...
