Lee and Hank's Birthday Party!

Lee and Hank had a joint birthday party in May. I was calling it simultaneous, but joint is probably a better word. Hank wanted to play soccer, so that's what he did with his friends. We also had a face painter/balloon maker and petting zoo come. It threatened to rain all day, and did in the morning, but held off for the party. It was really fun--just a lot of kids running around the backyard, stopping to pet a pig or get their face painted. At the end the balloon lady made balloon swords for everyone and there was a massive battle.

She spent a lot of time in front of the mirror that night, looking at herself. When she woke up the next morning she ran to the mirror and sobbed upon seeing that her new face had melted off during the night.
