Mexico!

We went to Mexico right after New Year's. I honestly can't even remember where we went--it was near Cancun but not Cancun.

Traveling with kids is, you know, traveling with kids. The boys are actually great to travel with at this point. Lee--not so much.

The story about snorkeling is that Mat and I and took the boys with Xandra and Emily. We were motorboated out into some very choppy water and then our guides, who spoke very little English, were like, okay, go, and basically dumped us in the sea. Hank and Mat and Pete were very quickly carried back to shore (not all the way, but they were getting there). And I did an SOS to the guides and they had to come rescue us. Xandra and Emily, meanwhile, were snorkeling away, oblivious to our, as Mat put it, near-drowning. (Not really, but it was intense. I was glad we had life jackets.) Pete and I and Mat got back into the water (Mat and I took turns, so as not to abandon Hank after his near-drowning experience) and it was cool--we saw an eel and a lot of fish.
