I'm writing this on March 1, 2025, so a year and a half later--to be honest I do not remember what we were doing! I look at photos and am amazed by how young the kids seem. Lee, obviously, but Pete and Hank, too. At this point, Pete was playing rec league soccer, Hank was swimming (that was short-lived), and Lee was just along for the ride.

Pete's extracted tooth...we were amazed by the root

She went through a phase of demanding the jar. She might still do that, actually....

Mat took this on the monitor--nursing Lee. I spent a lot of time nursing babies in this chair. We got it at the Minneapolis IKEA when we were visiting Mat's family for Christmas; it resided in our bedroom in St. Louis. Then we moved it to Auburn, from our first house to our second. We are actually looking for a new chair for Lee's room now. Hard to believe that IKEA rocker has been with us for 10 years.

Not Hank. I think she looks more like Pete than Hank, but she's her own person. David says that Pete looks like my dad (I mean, I also look like my dad); Hank looks like Mat; and Lee looks like me.

At Wuwu and Poppy's. Lee had a mullet for the longest time.

The aforementioned mullet

We were trying to get a good picture for daycare, and, well, see Pete's face.

I mean I am struck by how mullet-like the mullet is...

At a tailgate! We don't go to the games, but we do enjoy a good tailgate. They always have a lot of kids activities and the boys like to run around and slide down the grass.

That mullet is making me laugh

Pete did Cub Scouts for a while--this was at Home Depot, selling popcorn...
